Accessibility Declaration
Accessibility Declaration
This declaration is made pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 106 of August 10, 2018 (EU Directive 2016/2102) and Law No. 4 of January 9, 2004 (Stanca Act), in compliance with the official AgID model – Annex 1.
About Us
The GRITTI Group SPA website, accessible at www.grittigroup.com, is managed with the aim of providing an inclusive digital experience for all users, regardless of their abilities.
Our Commitment and Compliance Status
We are committed to complying with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at AA level and national legislation (UNI EN 301549), to ensure the website is usable by a wide range of users, including those with visual, motor, cognitive, auditory, and other disabilities.
Currently, this declaration reflects a status of "partially compliant", as some pages or features have the issues described below.
What Is Not Yet Fully Accessible and Why
The website has some limitations, described here in plain and understandable language:
- Use of assistive technologies (ARIA): some elements do not fully comply with structural requirements needed to work properly with screen readers and other support tools. Required relationships between elements and roles are missing.
- Names and labels: some images lack descriptive text, frames are not accompanied by a title, and some links are not clearly understandable out of context.
- Visual contrast: in some sections, text does not have sufficient contrast with the background, and links are distinguishable only by color, making reading difficult for some users.
- Table and list structure: some list elements are not properly enclosed in ordered or unordered lists, which may hinder reading by assistive technologies.
- Keyboard navigation: the heading order within pages is not always logical and consistent, making navigation harder for keyboard users.
- Multimedia content: videos do not include subtitles, limiting access for users with hearing disabilities.
Alternative solutions are already available upon request via email.
How We Conducted the Assessment
This declaration was prepared through an internal self-assessment, supported by:
- Automated tools to verify key WCAG criteria;
- Manual review by the development team;
- Future subjective evaluation by users with disabilities, as recommended by AgID guidelines.

What We Plan to Improve in the Near Future
To enhance user experience and achieve full compliance, we plan to implement the following actions by the end of the year:
- Fix the use of assistive technologies (ARIA): we will correct the structure of elements to ensure they are properly interpreted by screen readers and other assistive tools.
- Add descriptive texts: we will insert descriptions for images, titles for embedded content such as frames, and revise unclear links to make them understandable even out of context.
- Improve visual readability: we will adjust the contrast between text and background for easier reading, and ensure links are distinguishable for users with color perception difficulties.
- Reorganize lists and tables: we will fix the structure of lists to support screen readers and other assistive tools.
- Review heading structure: we will better organize page titles for clearer navigation, especially for keyboard users.
- Add subtitles to videos: we will include subtitle tracks in video content to make them accessible to users with hearing disabilities.
These areas will be reviewed during our scheduled semi-annual audits.
